You believe that harnessing technology and scientific advancements can lead to a more equitable, sustainable, and democratic society.
Techno-progressivism, also known as technoliberalism, is a socio-political ideology that advocates for the use of technology and science to enhance the human condition, including physical and cognitive abilities, as well as social and political structures. It emphasizes the potential benefits of technological advancements while also recognizing the need for appropriate regulations and ethical considerations to mitigate potential risks and negative impacts.
The roots of techno-progressivism can be traced back to the Enlightenment era, when thinkers began to emphasize the power of reaso…

How would you feel living in a world where all basic necessities are provided by automated systems?
@9KK5R3SRepublican 3mos3MO
I would feel nice to be living in a world where all basic necessities are provided by automated systems, but would like for some other things to be still managed by humans.
@9KKPSHK3mos3MO
These automated systems would take away the unique experience of being served by a human-- one that is personal and irreplaceable. Replacing these jobs with automated systems would also take away countless jobs from needy families and individuals.
@9KK5922Independent3mos3MO
I will be happy to be served by robots. Though it can make humans lazy it can be like a personal maid.
@9KT3VCGRepublican2mos2MO
We born as humans and, day by day everyone is gitting completly lazy and people are losing themselves.
@9KK3YD93mos3MO
I don't want to live in a world like that because then we lose human interaction and it becomes a technological world which could be a scary thing.
@9KKB2PD 3mos3MO
as humans leaving everything to technology puts us and our future generations to suffer in knowing how to do nothing by ourselves and eventually becoming extremely lazy and unhealthy, yes technology is here to help make our tasks easier not to completely take away our basic responsibilities and turn our society into one of people who don't know how to take care of themselves
@9KK5TDQ3mos3MO
To a degree, it would be beneficial in various aspects. However, having the world run by technology automatically increases the lack of effort in humans as well as increasing reliance on technology. In the case of the disappearance of the automated systems, humans would be put in a detrimental state.
@ISIDEWITH3mos3MO
What role do you see for technology in managing the Earth's resources more sustainably?
@9KJZKJV3mos3MO
I dont see why a robot should control our resources.
@9KK2QGL3mos3MO
I think its cool but I think people are becoming too reliable on technology
@9KK2D5W3mos3MO
IT could cause mayhem and issues but as long as it is controlled correctly then it would work well.
@9KJZVSB3mos3MO
We use technology to work in synergy with our earth and finding the right balance so we don’t become too dependent on technology.
@ISIDEWITH3mos3MO
Do you think a technological innovation could help you achieve a personal goal, and what might that look like?
@9KLVL7N3mos3MO
yes because people can use it to start a business and create a job and living for themselves
@9KLW5B23mos3MO
It could help us improve at a quicker rate than we normally would.
@9KLW55G3mos3MO
I think it could, but I also find it unreliable and can fail easily.
@9KLTQMZWomen’s Equality3mos3MO
Yes because people could use it for what they want to be for a job/hobby.
@ISIDEWITH2mos2MO
How do you feel about the development of smart cities that are heavily reliant on tech for everyday processes?
@9KTNBBP2mos2MO
It can be helpful but could limit social interaction and development, and negatively affect self functioning
@9KTN7B7 2mos2MO
I think it's stupid. Terminator was created for a reason.
@9KTNDNM2mos2MO
Watch_Dogs is a cool game that explores this. Let’s not
@9KTNBX82mos2MO
That’s fine but need to protect from cyber attacks to prevent shutdowns
@ISIDEWITH4mos4MO
How might we use technology to reshape and improve the way our democracy functions?
@9JS5NDD3mos3MO
We can use technology to vote from home, learn about candidates, we already use it to watch elections and court cases/trials, why not bring some more relevant qualities to technology?
@9JT5YPB3mos3MO
some people might think that voting from home might be a better and more convenient way to vote; however i think it should not be a case of convenience. Voting at home may increase the chances of cheating more easily and frequently. people already do this by going to ballots, so having the opportunity to do it at home can increase fake ballots and votes.
@9JS5ZS63mos3MO
This question is very broad and there are to many factors to be able to answer it correctly. Technology advances rappidly and it is constantly changing things in our culture where it is difficult to keep up with. I believe that Techno-Progressivisim is important and that we need to continue to strive to regulate technology when situatons arize that bring the need into focus.

@ISIDEWITH2mos2MO
How has a device or app helped you maintain a hobby or interest that you may have otherwise lost touch with?
@9LG8NYB1mo1MO
Instagram inspires me to continue pursuing photography.
@ISIDEWITH2mos2MO
How has technology challenged or changed your perception of your own culture and traditions?
@9KT8Z39Republican2mos2MO
its became a lot more advanced and is becoming scary because technology should not be taking peoples jobs.
@9KT8FSV2mos2MO
It has given into the view of those in power seek to not lose that power in or out of government stopping systems for working how they are intended.
@9KT8DWH2mos2MO
I think we might be going to far with AI. I believe it might destroy the country.
@ISIDEWITH3mos3MO
What's one way you think virtual reality could change the way we socialize in the future?
@9KK7HJM3mos3MO
I think personally the world will become a waste land and most people will be in VR and they will on;y talk online.
@9KK79HX3mos3MO
Virtual Reality could increase the lonliness and depression epidemic in our country, as well as porn addiction and the decrease of the nuclear family.
@9KK6YQ53mos3MO
We may have less social interactions without the use of "techno-progressivism" which I don't like.
@ISIDEWITH6mos6MO
How do you guard against the spread of misinformation in the age of digital media, and what's your strategy?
@9HGH4G2Women’s Equality6mos6MO
I think that there is no perfect solution to stopping the spread of misinformation without limits peoples rights to freedom of speech, the best solution would be to spend more funds on education and try to make it more available to all people so they wont look for all their information on the internet, and if they were to they know what to look for and more or less what to believe based on prior knowledge taught in school.
@9HGGHQ46mos6MO
You fact check everything digitaly before it can be sent out.
@9HGGZ3G6mos6MO
Not allowing to much information about myself to be posted and keeping away from toxic people on the enternet.
@9HGGYP96mos6MO
if many with the problem should stay away from controversy on the internet
