I think feminism reached it original goals, but the "new wave" of feminism has destroyed the meaning of feminism. Feminism was the fight for equality, but now it has gone too far to the point of eventually ruining society

 @9H8PWJG from Texas answered…5mos5MO

Yes if you're a woman you should be able to have your own goals your own beliefs your own facts even your own political theories

 @9H7KV4T from Texas answered…5mos5MO

I think feminism is correct, maybe yes there is times where some feminist do take it far but in my opinion the right feminist women they are like this due to how in the past women were treated unfairly.

 @9H8DTXS from Ohio answered…5mos5MO

I believe feminism has reached some goal, but gender discrimination and inequality is still rampant, and feminism is still needed because if it.

 @9H96VCQ from Georgia answered…5mos5MO

Feminism has made strides for gender equality; opinions on its success and impact vary.

 @9HBNC5RDemocrat from Ohio answered…5mos5MO

I think feminism has yet to reach its full goals due to the lack of education of women's issues in schools. Feminism isn't taken seriously enough by the majority of men and right-leaning women for it to have reached its full capabilities.

 @9HBPHYWPeace and Freedom from Nevada answered…5mos5MO

I would say that feminism has definitely come a long way but I think people are still sexist. The point of feminism isn't exclusively to empower women, but to establish equality between men and women.

 @9HBN5D6 from Indiana answered…5mos5MO

At one point I did agree with this, but know I feel as though it has disturbed social harmony by making it seem wrong to want to be a stay at home mom or want to not be a feminist when anyone should feel happy with wanting whatever decision they decide.

 @9H946VV from California answered…5mos5MO

I think it succeeded in its goals but some people take feminism way too seriously and just hate every man

 @9H97H8B from Georgia commented…5mos5MO

 @9H7JF2CRepublican from Indiana answered…5mos5MO

I think that feminism has been taken too far, only because women who are feminist have the same idea and image for men because of what one man, or several, have done to them.

 @9H7QTYFanswered…5mos5MO

i feel like being anti feminine will just make you be judged by every women you meet

 @9H7RP3NDemocrat from Washington answered…5mos5MO

Feminism looks very different from what it did 100 years ago and for good reason. Women are still facing similar problems and new modern-day problems. Feminism looks very different today but some people who are titled as people who push aren't actually feminists.

 @9H7XVZJGreen from Texas answered…5mos5MO

True feminism strives for overall equality which I agree with a lot, however I think that some people use it to agitate the other side or gain more benefits.

Both. There are extremes to everything, and this topic is no different.

 @9H7KKT4Republican from Massachusetts answered…5mos5MO

yes all though i feel that many feminists are pushing for woman to ne more valuable

 @9H7S5MD  from Texas answered…5mos5MO

The majority of feminists do not go too far. There's extremes to every belief, but those "feminists" who go too far are not true feminists and shouldn't be called such. True feminists strive for full equality between all genders, with the exceptions of what would keep a gender safer.

 @9H84YNY from New York answered…5mos5MO

Modern Feminism has completely over reached its goals and has simply turned into sexism against men.

 @9HB7TQTDemocrat  from Texas answered…5mos5MO

Modern feminism has overall impeded social harmony by encouraging toxic femininity

 @9H7YLVC from Texas answered…5mos5MO

feminism has overreached extremely, feminism is the idea of the sexes being equal, but it has turned into much more. lots of feminists look at the pros of being equal but not the cons, Most of the time men get payed more because of the work they have to do. There is a reason you don't see many female construction workers. Women also get payed less because they take more time off of work for personal stuff such as being pregnant, being completley equal means that you wont be able to just take off.

 @9HBGXJFfrom Maine answered…5mos5MO

Equality and equite of all kinds still has a long way to go to be fully achieved, in both directions

 @9H984WKSocialistanswered…5mos5MO

Ultimately, the goal of feminism was never to put down men, as many choose to interpret it today (incorrectly), instead, it has always been for true gender equality. This does not hurt men, it takes away unfair advantages. In fact, feminism, and its movement has helped reduce stigma around men's mental health issues, proving that it has gone beyond the expected of assisting women, and transpired into a new, redefining critical opinion of our modern age.

 @9HB83T4 from New Mexico answered…5mos5MO

I think that feminism has overreached what it was originally about, which was the equality of women and men.

 @9HBNNPQ from Nevada answered…5mos5MO

Feminism is just saying the same things about everyone's rights just they want it more attuned to women. Women need more attention and that is what feminism is doing. When people take videos like Pier Morgan he is basically saying the exact same things just better.

 @9H85FKZ from Illinois answered…5mos5MO

I think that feminism is important and that men and women should be equal, but I think that feminism may have gone too far and is now used as a weapon by some women.

 @9HBN32N from Nevada answered…5mos5MO

I believe feminism has met its goals, but many who support feminism have taken it too far with their own opinions/beliefs.

 @9H828L2 from South Carolina answered…5mos5MO

Feminism did not achieve it's goals as women are still subject to a majority of abusive crime from majorly men and the patriarchy still exists to justify capitalist exploitation and uphold the status quo.

 @9H97TZ3Republican from California answered…5mos5MO

Feminism has succeeded in many ways, and I believe has reached its original goal. However, the new agenda of feminism is negative. Men and women have unique roles in society, and men and women both need to respect the other’s crucial role.

 @9H7JJ6V from Indiana answered…5mos5MO

Femisim has certainly made progress. But in our current society there is still great social disparity. For example; the abortion ban, made by mostly men, only attacks women and afab people. There are still a large majority of men in government or higher payed positions, it’s nowhere close to 50/50.

 @9H8CJWB from Idaho answered…5mos5MO

I feel like it's started to succeed, but it's gotten to the point where it's gotten to people's heads. I'm a woman, and we are all equal, I just know I've seen some things where the women are trying to get higher than the men, not equal

 @9H8TDTB from Texas answered…5mos5MO

Feminism is important, as it stands for the rights of women, though some believe feminism means women should be held higher than men, which would create a similar problem as what we have now.

 @9H8XMZB from Kentucky answered…5mos5MO

I think that Feminism has overreached its popularity over the past couple of months, the only reason why people confess in front of a camera/phone is that they're followers of other people who confess their sexuality on the internet making it more public than ever making so other people are going to be confessing towards the internet like people will like to care about their actions of confessing. Not forgetting to mention that the people who are confessing to the internet are mostly grown adults who sit in front of a camera and confess.

My conclusion is that; feminism has grown since…  Read more

Women are not yet equal to men so no, feminism has not succeeded. The goal is to bring women up to the level of men, not bring men down to the level of women.

 @9H85NF9 from Arkansas answered…5mos5MO

Feminism did not achieve its goals as there is often an idea built that all men are bad people. The goal of feminism was to create the idea that women are equal to men.

 @9H8RZLH from Arkansas answered…5mos5MO

Feminism is overreaching its goals and trying to steal the rights of men, to the point where men are 80% of suicides.

 @9H7PF3V  from Wisconsin answered…5mos5MO

Feminism still has a ways to go in achieving complete equity for all women. I think that feminist needs to be intersectional especially in representing trans women, women of color, and lower income women.

 @9H84QPB from Nevada answered…5mos5MO

Nope it’s often seen as something too radical but it’s radical to make a point as systematically we still live under a male dominated power structure and women are often still miss-treated and stereotyped

 @9H7574P from California answered…5mos5MO

I’m a way, but there should be more programs as well as movements that are able to help females.

 @9H93ZW5 from California answered…5mos5MO

I believe that feminism has gone to far to where men are being posed and targeted for unreasonable actions, but slowly what women try and achieve is being accomplished.

 @9H769GLWomen’s Equality from Washington answered…5mos5MO

I think feminism has reached its main goal, but I also think that there are people who take it too far. Like yes, as a woman, I am glad that I am equal, but we still need feminism because of the patriarchial society that the United States has created.

 @9H7HQJQanswered…5mos5MO

They have somewhat achieved their goal since women are getting treated better but they are still being undermined.

 @9HBPL7KForward from New York answered…5mos5MO

Feminism has been deteriorated to a standing point of women making it out to say that they are superior and all male people, specifically white cisgender males must be removed entirely. But I say that it is perfectly fine as is.

 @9H8RGYQ  from Colorado answered…5mos5MO

I believe feminism has yet to reach its goal, as things like gender-based double standards and the wage gap have yet to be solved nationwide.

 @9H8Z39C from California answered…5mos5MO

Anti-feminism is a political ideology that opposes feminism and its associated movements. that feminism as a movement encourages misandry and results in harm or oppression of men; or driven by general opposition towards women's rights.

 @9H97Y9WDemocrat from Georgia answered…5mos5MO

I feel as feminism is overstepping its intended goal. It appears to be going for supremacy rather than equality.

 @9HBPZ7Z from South Carolina answered…5mos5MO

I believe that feminist have succeeded their goals, and even more. But i think females should be able to have their opinion on these things, and think that “feminism” was created to gain the independence and power that people didn’t give them in the past. I also believe some feminist have taken it a little far though.

 @9H7SYM8Republican from Illinois answered…5mos5MO

i think feminists have succeeded in their goals, and now they realize that they had it better before. they complain about working 9-5 jobs and getting drafted, but that's what they fought for.

 @9H873W8Peace and Freedom from Arkansas answered…5mos5MO

It has overreached, everyone is equal. No gender should be better then the other. Anti- Feminism now days is only pushing people away.
