More land for farming. some family's might not be able to plant anything because there a little poor and may not have land for farming.

The government has provided many services to help farmers including many subsidies, and the land mass for farming is the largest for areas in the countryside, because of the agricultural business started in the 1800s, so provding more land won't do anything for the farmers. The argument made also states that giving more land would help poor farmers, but how more land help them if they can't get crops to plant on that land.

an example of innovation I've seen in the country side that could benefit cities is transportations.

I think it could be argued that cities have far better transportation systems then the countryside and rural areas.
