Although not always recognized, white passing people do have an underlying privilege in comparison to people of color.

I think sometimes people struggle to understand the concept because they are probably white. Therefore, haven't experienced it and won't wrap their head around it. White privilege is shown in many ways such as from walking into a store and being treated differently because they are white but because the other person has some color in their skin they don't get the same treatment. White privilege.
