How might an increase in mental health support as part of welfare affect school environments and student well-being?

 @9JL3WNY from Virginia answered…4mos4MO

They would make school life much more enjoyable for students.

 @9JLWV84  from South Carolina agreed…4mos4MO

Because I can't walk through the hallways without misgendering somebody and then getting in trouble for it. So I get in trouble for knowing basic biology and having my own opinion. And I believe I have the right to not have to participate in their illusions/fantasys.

How do you think your day-to-day stress levels would change if there was a safety net for your essential needs?

 @9JL4CL6 from Minnesota answered…4mos4MO

It would bring some relief to think that there is a safety net.

 @9JLRHC3Libertarian from Kentucky agreed…4mos4MO

If my house burns down and I don't have insurence because I cant afford it because im living off of minimum wage I will be homeless and starve, if we have a safety net for basic needs ill know that i wont starve.

If people didn't have to worry about things like food and what meal they're going to eat next, they would be a lot less stress

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2mos2MO

Can you share a time when you felt a government program improved your life or the life of someone close to you?

 @9KV65YW from Georgia answered…2mos2MO

When a friend was struggling finally to get food on the table, a school program helped them receive food everyday.

 @9KYSDMD from Pennsylvania agreed…2mos2MO

This is helping someone eat and at the end of the day everyone should have a healthy meal infront of them.

 @9KV63X4Republican from Kansas answered…2mos2MO

The government does not improve my life through a program.

 @9KVBH2YSocialist from Wisconsin disagreed…2mos2MO

I have been poor my whole life with a single mom who works in food service, she has applied multiple times or government help/assistance, and she has been denied everytime.

Never. It steals from hard working people and gives it to the inferior, undeserving people. Allows the weak to prosper. Is there any wonder that our hegemony is crumbling?

How do you think your future aspirations would be impacted by living in a society with strong welfare support?

 @9J5T2H6 from Pennsylvania answered…4mos4MO

My future probably will not be impacted that much by a strong welfare support system. We need to have a strong welfare system in order to help people in need and get them back on their feet

 @9J5V9T4 from Kentucky answered…4mos4MO

Welfare could really help people in need and people who don ´ t have a lot of money. It would very helpful for me.

 @9J5VYMSLibertarian from Pennsylvania answered…4mos4MO

With a strong well fare this country could supply it people of low income with life saving supplies.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3mos3MO

What's the strongest argument for or against welfare that you've heard, and how did it affect your views?

 @9KHVZKRIndependent  from North Carolina answered…3mos3MO

I think everyone should have the chance to do better. Although we shouldn't make an extra effort to help those who are less fortunate because they voluntarily choose to not work. I think it is fair to say that we work for what we earn.

 @9KHS42W from South Carolina answered…3mos3MO

Everyone should be given the opportunity to improve, but we should not go out of our way to improve those less fortunate who chose to become less fortunate.

 @9KHRQ9CRepublican from Kansas answered…3mos3MO

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO

Can a balance between rewarding hard work and providing welfare be achieved, and what would that look like to you?

 @9JL4GP3 from Texas answered…4mos4MO

Yes it can. The State must guarantee a basic minimum standard of dignity for all people

 @9JL4G6M from Missouri answered…4mos4MO

If they have a job or trying to get one but not make enough money they deserve welfare

 @9JL4CWSIndependent from Nevada answered…4mos4MO

Yes, it is achievable. To oversimplify it, if a citizen is working and meets multiple criteria, we should then provide livable welfare.

Do you think it's fair to redistribute wealth from the rich to support the poor, and why?

 @9H8V8DJ from Virginia answered…6mos6MO

yes the rich make their money on the backs of the poor, and then refuse to pay a fair wage

 @9H8VXHMPeace and Freedom from Texas answered…6mos6MO

I don't think it is fair to redistribute wealth from the rich but I think we can tax them more and use the taxes taken to create poverty relief programs.

 @9H8XMZB from Kentucky answered…6mos6MO

Is because the only reason why their's such high taxes and inflammation nowadays is that other companies are starting to get greedy with the money they obtain by buying food from the market or just buying a drink from the gas station, All of the drinks, foods, or diary products something that has to be relating for food is going to be getting taxed. Not forgetting to mention that some stores tax .20 - .10$ depending on the amount of items that you have in your cart/ bag; making the poor people even poorer while the rich will get richer than ever, making it a lot more difficult to ever succeed in life with a minimum wage job.

 @9H8TYB9 from Alabama answered…6mos6MO

The origins of welfarism can be traced back to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, during a period of rapid industrialization and urbanization in Western Europe and North America. The harsh conditions faced by many workers and their families during this time led to calls for government intervention to improve living standards and protect the rights of workers. This led to the establishment of various social welfare programs, such as public health initiatives, unemployment insurance, and old-age pensions.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…6mos6MO

If you had to choose, would you prioritize funding for healthcare or education, and why?

 @9HM58P5 from Florida answered…5mos5MO

healthcare and education are connected, and improvements in one area can positively impact the other. For instance, a healthy and educated population tends to be more productive and better equipped to contribute to the overall well-being of society.

 @9HM4Y8KDemocrat from Louisiana answered…5mos5MO

Education because it will be easier to prevent health issues if one is educated on it.

How do you imagine societal attitudes might change if everyone received equal access to basic welfare services?

 @9HW2KCVIndependentanswered…5mos5MO

everyone deserves these services. societal attitudes will definitely be better, it should be a requirement that everyone receives these services.

 @9HXGHSP from Nebraska agreed…4mos4MO

Equal access to welfare services lowers the gap between the upper and lower class. By allowing the poor to stay poor, we are increasing potential animosity between the two groups due to jealousy.

 @9HW2J6HDemocrat from Missouri answered…5mos5MO

the complex of policies, attitudes, and beliefs associated with the welfare state

 @9HW2H4X from Tennessee answered…5mos5MO

There will be less in poverty and a decreased homeless population. With an increase in the wellbeing of the population, it will increase, which will increase the economy.

 @9HW2KN7 from South Carolina answered…5mos5MO

People leaning towards the right will be against said welfare services, while the left will be in full support.
After some time I believe everyone will realize that it is for the betterment of our country.
